I’ve been digging into the Marvin Gibbs case lately, and something that's puzzled me is the location of where he was dropped off—near the Delmar Hotel in Loch Sheldrake. From what I understand, that area wasn't particularly known for heavy foot traffic at night back in the '80s. Does anyone know if the Delmar Hotel had any reputation or peculiar events around that time? It’s such a specific spot for Marvin to have last been seen, and I wonder if there was any significance or reason he might have been heading towards Liberty from there. Also, the burgundy Nike duffel bag he was reportedly carrying—could it have stood out to someone? It seems like a detail that might have been noticeable. If anyone has insights on the area back then or just thoughts on this aspect, I'd love to hear them.
