Hey everyone, I’ve been following Thomas Patrick Mooney's case and find it so puzzling. Something that’s been on my mind is the location where his car was found. It's peculiar that it ended up in a nearby citrus grove, muddy and stuck, with seemingly no direction or intent behind it. I keep wondering if the rural, somewhat isolated surroundings played a role in his disappearance. It must have been a challenge navigating those back roads, especially for someone who might have been disoriented. Does anyone here know if that area was well-visited back then? I wonder if maybe he was trying to find a familiar route home or got turned around and ended up stuck. Also, the fact that his dog stayed nearby is curious. Dogs often have a better sense of direction; maybe it returned to where it last sensed Thomas? Thoughts or insights are welcome.
