Has anyone looked into whether the reservoir area was ever completely searched or if any changes have been made to the landscape since 1985? I wonder if there could be a possibility that David and Lloyd accidentally left the main area and ended up in a more remote or hard-to-access part of the reservoir. Back then, technology for search and rescue wasn't as advanced as it is now, right? It's strange that both of them, with a whole car, just vanished without a trace. It's like something straight out of a mystery novel. Can any locals confirm if the area has been thoroughly searched since their disappearance, or are there still parts that remain untouched?

I was pouring over some old newspaper clippings from 1985 and stumbled on this case of David Jaramillo and Lloyd Reese. Something that really struck me was the mention of David's chipped front tooth. I know it's just a small detail, but it's these little identifiers that make cases like this feel so real and immediate. It got me wondering if it's possible that someone out there has come across someone with a similar dental feature and just doesn't realize it could be tied to a cold case like this. I know it's a long shot, but sometimes these small details can jog memories or lead to sightings that were otherwise overlooked. Has anyone heard anything about potential sightings over the years? Or could there be dental records floating around that were never matched up? Just curious if there’s any unexplored avenue that could be reignited with a bit of attention to the finer details like this.

I’ve been diving into the David Jaramillo and Lloyd Reese case, and I find it puzzling how little attention has been given to the brown Datsun B210 they were last seen driving. Cars from that era sometimes had issues with overheating or stalling, especially if they were pushed too hard on a hot day. I wonder if any car enthusiasts or mechanics have ever come across information on this particular car in the area around East Canyon Reservoir. Maybe looking into auto repair shops or junkyards from that time could lead to new evidence? It's such a mystery how the car simply vanished without a trace. It feels like there might be untapped resources in this avenue that could bring us closer to finding out what really happened that day. Thoughts?
