I've been following the case of Curtis Lee Nolen, and it's so deeply unsettling to think about how his life was cut short so abruptly. He was one of five people killed in a violent weekend back in 2012 in Oklahoma City, yet his case didn't seem to get the attention it deserved. While reading through the reports, it struck me how his murder still remains unsolved all these years later. I can't imagine how tough this must be for his family and friends, knowing the case hasn't seen justice. It's especially troubling when you think about the backdrop of that year—a particularly violent one for the city—where multiple lives were lost in similar tragic circumstances. What gets me is that each unresolved case means a family out there is still searching for answers and peace. If anyone has been following this case too or knows of any recent updates, please share. It would mean a lot to everyone who's been hoping for some resolution, even all these years later. It's vital that these cases aren't left in the cold and that the community continues to support efforts towards finding justice for Curtis and others affected by such senseless violence.
