I've been following Bettye Jo Hart's case for a while now, and something that's always baffled me is why there was so little focus on her diamond ring. I mean, it was described as distinctive, so why wasn't there more attention on tracking that down? You'd think it might surface somewhere if someone tried to sell it or pawn it. Her financial stability and health conditions make it even more perplexing that there's no trace of her or the ring. It seems like a good lead that didn't get the traction it should have. Does anyone know if there were any efforts to contact local pawn shops or jewelers back then? It's frustrating that something so tangible could just disappear without a trace.

Has anyone else looked into Garry V. Kirkland’s background in relation to Bettye Jo Hart’s disappearance? I find it odd that he was the last person seen with her. Has anyone dug up more info on his whereabouts or activities back in 1985? I wonder if he had any known connections to her tavern or any business dealings. You’d think with Bettye being a prominent business owner, someone in the area might know more. Maybe there’s something in the business records or even in the tavern clientele that could provide some clues. It's baffling how she just vanished without a trace, and yet there's so little out there about this guy who was with her. Would appreciate any insights or theories!
