Does anyone know if there's been any updates on Danyel Sparpana's case in recent years? I was thinking about how frustrating it must be for the investigators to have convicted Tholmer without finding Danyel’s remains. I wonder if there are any new technologies or forensic methods since the 1990s that could be applied to her case. It's just devastating to think that there's still a chance her case could be solved and provide some closure. If anyone has any info on what law enforcement might be doing now or any new efforts to bring attention to the case, please share! Her disappearance has always stayed with me over the years.

I was reading about Danyel Lou Sparpana’s case again, and something that intrigues me is the timeline between Cynthia's murder and when her body was found. If Danyel was really seen wandering around the neighborhood during this period, how did no one manage to intervene or at least get a solid idea of where she might have gone? It's puzzling to think that in those few days, there weren't any definitive leads about Danyel's whereabouts given those reported sightings. I wonder if any new investigative techniques could bring more clarity to these sightings, maybe offer new insights into those crucial hours. Seems like there might be more pieces to this puzzle that haven’t surfaced yet. Anyone have thoughts on how viable it is to rely on decades-old witness reports?

Does anyone have more details about the sightings of young Danyel wandering the neighborhood after her mom's tragic death? It just seems so puzzling and incredibly risky for a little girl to be out there alone, especially after such a traumatic event. I've read that some neighbors supposedly saw her, but did any of them attempt to approach her or find out if she was okay? This part of the timeline always struck me as odd—did the killer deliberately let her wander around in an attempt to cause confusion, or was there something else going on here? It seems like such a critical window where she could have potentially been found or helped, but somehow disappeared without a trace. Would love to hear any thoughts or theories others might have on this aspect of the case.
