I've been thinking about the possible threats Kimberly might have faced because of her informant work. It's chilling to consider that she had just testified in a drug trafficking case before she went missing. I can't help but wonder if there could be a connection there. It just seems too coincidental that she disappeared right before another meeting with law enforcement, especially with rumors of threats circulating. Drug trafficking can be a dangerous world to get involved in, even on the side of justice. Does anyone know if the prosecutors or law enforcement dug deeper into this angle? It's strange that no other witnesses from the case have spoken out or come forward with any public information. If anyone has insights into how informant cases are typically handled or kept safe, I'd love to hear them.
