Hi everyone, I’ve been following Jason Beals’ case pretty closely, and one detail I can’t stop thinking about is the neighborhood where this tragedy happened. It’s hard to imagine something so violent occurring in a community where people are just trying to go about their everyday lives. I read that the residents were really shaken after the incident—understandably so. It must have been terrifying to hear gunshots so close to home and then to learn the tragic reason behind them. My heart goes out to all the neighbors and local residents who are probably still trying to come to terms with what happened. Did any of you hear about how the community has responded since? Any thoughts or updates would be appreciated. Stay safe out there!
