Something that's always bugged me about Mary Elizabeth Plavnick's disappearance is the timeline surrounding when she was last seen. April 9, 1987—the day she told Adrian Kendricks she was heading to Stardust Club but never showed up. It seems like a tight window yet offers so many possibilities. Was there anyone who saw her between Adrian's place and the club? I feel like someone in the neighborhood might have noticed her, especially since it was a regular, lively area.
Also, why didn't anyone at the Stardust mention her absence sooner? If Mary was a familiar face around there, wouldn't someone have noticed she didn’t turn up that night? Makes me wonder if she ever intended to go there at all or if it was just something she said as a cover for something else. Feels like a missing piece, and it's frustrating that after all these years, we still don't have answers to these basic questions. If anyone has insights or lived around Old Corry Field Road back then, what was the vibe of the place? Could it have been risky for a young woman to be walking alone at that time?
I was digging through some old newspaper archives and came across a small snippet about the Stardust Club back in the late '80s. It seems like it had a bit of a reputation as a sketchy hangout spot. Has anyone considered the possibility that something might have happened to Mary Elizabeth Plavnick there, even though she never officially arrived? Maybe someone at the club remembers that night? It might be a long shot, but since it's still an unsolved case, every angle's worth exploring. Anyone familiar with this venue back in the day that can shed more light on its environment or the crowd that used to frequent it? Just wondering if there might be more to unravel here.
