Does anyone know if there were security cameras around Providence Memorial Hospital back in the late '80s? Even if they were just in the parking lots or entrances, it could've been a huge help in understanding what happened in Anna's case. I'm always amazed by how much true crime cases from that time could have benefited from today's technology. If anyone has local knowledge or old news reports from that period, it'd be interesting to know more about the area's surveillance capabilities back then.

I recently stumbled across Anna Jovita Mallari's case from 1988 and I can't stop thinking about the sudden vanishing act Rolando pulled after his initial statement. Does anyone know if he had any family or friends in El Paso who might have helped him after Anna disappeared, or if he was known to travel often? It seems strange to me that someone could just vanish without help, and I wonder if anyone ever looked into his background deeply enough to track any connections he might've used to get away. This detail alone makes me think there's more to uncover. Would love to hear thoughts from anyone who's been following this case or knows more about El Paso back then. Thanks!
I recently came across the case of Anna Jovita Mallari, and something caught my attention about her husband Rolando's claims. How could he say that Anna and their child went back to the Philippines, but there are no records or witnesses of them arriving there? It just seems so suspicious to me that Rolando himself vanished right after authorities found out that Anna never made it to her parents’ house. What was his plan? And did he think disappearing would help him avoid more questions? I find it troubling how cases like this take so many turns, and yet the trail still goes cold. Does anyone know if Rolando used any kind of travel documents after Anna disappeared? I'd love to hear more thoughts on this!
