I recently came across Tonetta Yvette Carlisle's case, and something that really caught my attention was the fact that the couple who witnessed the abduction tried to follow the car and managed to get a license plate number. That's incredible presence of mind, but what do you guys think ultimately happened with that lead? I know the car was traced back to Jeffrey Jones, but the timing of his suicide just two days later seems so strange to me. Do you think there might have been others involved that haven’t been identified? Given that Tonetta was taken in broad daylight, you'd think there'd be more to go on. Also, her case being reopened in 2019 makes me wonder what new methods or tech they might be leveraging to find new clues. Would love to hear if anyone's seen similar cases where a critical tip like a license plate number eventually helped crack the case.
