Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Wallace McDonald Coffin case, and something that's puzzled me is the lack of media coverage back when he went missing. I mean, Seattle is a big city, and even in 1989, you'd think his disappearance would at least make some local news given his age and the ongoing concerns with alcoholism. It's like he just vanished with barely a whisper. Does anyone know if there were any articles or TV segments about him back then, or was it just totally under the radar? You'd hope there was at least some effort to alert the public beyond just local flyers or neighborhood searches. I'm curious if anyone has come across archived news clips or newspaper stories that could shed more light on how his disappearance was perceived at the time.
Hey everyone—I’ve been reading through the posts and noticed something about Wallace Coffin's case that I don’t think we've discussed yet. I came across a few old newspaper clippings from around the time he vanished. It seems the building manager was the last person to see him and reported Wallace was acting strangely the last few days before his disappearance. Could something have triggered a change in his behavior? Maybe an event or a person he encountered? Anybody with experience in these kinds of cases, what do you think could have been going on?
