Hey everyone, I've been following Brian Gordon's case and something's been on my mind lately. His car was found on State Route 62, out of gas, right? That area is pretty secluded, and I can't help but wonder why he ended up there with an empty tank. Did he really miscalculate the distance, or was he trying to distance himself from something or someone? I mean, electronics weren't as advanced back in '89, so it's plausible he simply got lost, but it's curious. Also, is it possible someone tampered with his vehicle? If anyone's got other theories, I'd love to hear them. Hoping someday soon his family gets the answers they deserve.

Has anyone else thought about why Brian Jeffrey Gordon’s car was so far from his supposed destination? State Route 62 is about 50 miles east of Twenty-Nine Palms, but it seems strange that his car ran out of gas there if he was headed to Phoenix. The route from Twenty-Nine Palms to Phoenix is more direct when taking State Route 62 to U.S. Route 95, then west to Interstate 10. Did he take a wrong turn, or was there a reason for him to be in that specific area? Maybe others have more insight on the geography or what the weather was like around his disappearance date? Trying to piece together the little clues we have here...
