Has anyone else taken a closer look at Loraine Light's mysterious phone message supposedly from Mexico? I find it really odd that her sister Cynthia doubted it was actually Loraine. Given everything was left in such a hurry—groceries unpacked, turkey defrosting—it doesn't seem like Loraine was planning to go anywhere, let alone Mexico. I can't shake the feeling that this message was staged to throw people off. Anyone have thoughts on who might have had the motive or means to do something like this? Could this be connected to the suspicious remarks made by her former boyfriend’s dad years later? This case just gets more perplexing the deeper I dig into it.

I’ve been following Loraine Migl Light’s case for a while, and I recently started thinking about that old answering machine message. Does anyone else find it incredibly odd? The message supposedly from Loraine claiming she was heading to Mexico seemed off from the start. Her sister, Cynthia, is adamant that the voice didn't sound like her, which makes me wonder about the technology back then—could someone have easily tampered with or faked a message like that in 1989? Or was it just her intuition telling her something was wrong? Given that her groceries were still on the floor and the turkey was defrosting, it feels like there was a level of urgency or panic. Has anyone else heard of other cases where similar fake messages were left, and if so, how were those handled? It seems like a key moment in her disappearance, and if it had been investigated thoroughly back then, maybe it could've led somewhere. Just speculating here, but I feel like it’s a piece of the puzzle we don’t hear much about, and it doesn't sit right with me. Thoughts?

I’ve been following Loraine Migl Light’s case, and something that's been puzzling me is the message left on the answering machine. Does anyone know if voice analysis was ever done on it? It seems so bizarre that her sister, Cynthia, didn’t believe it was Loraine's voice. Could it have been someone trying to throw off the investigation? Given the technology limitations back then, I’m not even sure if they could have definitively ruled it out as Loraine’s voice or matched it to someone else. It seems like a potentially crucial piece of the puzzle that might have been overlooked or mishandled. Every little detail counts, especially when the key records are missing now. Any thoughts or similar cases where voicemails played a significant role?
