Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions on the day Astor Johnson Southerland disappeared? I stumbled upon some old weather records and it seems like there was light rain in Kenansville on October 30, 1990. With his Alzheimer's, I'm concerned the rain might have disoriented him further. It must have been tough for searchers looking in the rain as well. Just wondering if this factor might have played a role in why he wasn't found during the initial searches. If anyone has more insights or thoughts on how weather could have impacted his disappearance or search efforts, I'd be curious to hear them.
