Hi everyone,
I’ve been reading through the discussion threads on Lois Lyons’ case, and I couldn’t stop thinking about the detail that there were no signs of forced entry. This often implies the killer was someone familiar to Lois or her husband, which makes the whole situation even harder for their family and friends. Imagine the shock and betrayal of realizing that someone they trusted could be involved.
Back in 1967, forensics were nothing like what we're used to today, so evidence we take for granted now might not have been gathered or examined as thoroughly. The thought of new evidence coming to light because of advancements in technology gives me hope. Even after so many years, DNA or new methodologies might provide the breakthrough needed.
If anyone in the local Lakewood community remembers anything, even a seemingly insignificant memory, it might be the missing piece of the puzzle. This has been on my mind a lot lately, and I hope justice can be found for Lois.
Fingers crossed for some closure for her family,
