I've been diving into the William Deveraux case from 1970, and something that really struck me is the location where he was found. That riverbank near 373 W. Rich Street—it's kind of an isolated spot, isn't it? Even back then, it must've been a bit out of the way. I can't help but wonder if this indicates that whoever was responsible knew the area well. Maybe they had some personal connection to that location, or perhaps they felt confident they wouldn't be seen? It's tough to think about how terrifying and lonely the situation must have been for William. If anyone else is familiar with the developments in that area over the years, could any changes have impacted evidence collection or witness availability at the time? I'm hoping one day there can be some answers for his loved ones and justice for William.
