Hey everyone,
I’ve been diving deep into the Ethel E. Euell case from 1971, and something that's really been sticking with me is how the community must have felt back then, and still feels today. I mean, it’s been over five decades, and there hasn't been any justice for Ethel or closure for her family. It’s just so unsettling to think about how, in a city like Dayton, someone could get away with this for so long.
From what I’ve read, the Ohio BCI is still pursuing leads, which gives me a little hope. The case being listed on databases run by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office seems to be a big step toward keeping it alive in the public's memory. I'm really hoping someone out there remembers something, no matter how small, that could finally break this case open.
If anyone locally or who was in the area back then has any insight or even stories passed down from family or friends about what might’ve been happening around that time, it could really make a difference. Let’s keep talking about Ethel and help the person or persons responsible face justice.
Sending strength to Ethel’s family. ? No one should ever have to wait this long for answers.
Stay safe,
