William Majewski, called Willie by some, was 8 when he left his McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, home about 4:00 p.m. on November 9, 1991. He had sandy brown hair, blue eyes, and gaps between his teeth, and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray pants and black tennis shoes. He was believed to be carrying fishing gear and heading toward Chartiers Creek near the Ohio River.

Later that evening his mother, Alice Stubenrauch, reported him missing. Searchers found his fishing equipment along the banks of Chartiers Creek behind an Eat’n Park restaurant; the gear was undisturbed and there were no signs of a struggle. The spot was about 100 yards from a camp used by homeless people. Witness reports over time placed a boy matching his description at McKees Rocks Plaza and one account described him being pulled into a burnt orange Chevrolet Nova by a man. Investigators also considered a possible link to Joseph Cornelius, later arrested in an unrelated child murder, but no definitive connection has been established.

Who in the McKees Rocks area that afternoon remembers seeing William or anything unusual near Chartiers Creek?
