Hi all, I’ve been looking into Cathy Hicks Parrott’s disappearance, and something I find really peculiar is the condition in which her car was found. Given it was involved in a hit-and-run, how likely is it that the accident was connected to her going missing? Did she try to get away or was it used by someone else to cause a diversion? I know witnesses saw someone fleeing the car, but with him not having any information, it just feels like a dead end. How come nothing more came out of analyzing the car itself for clues? It seems strange to me that after all these years, there's no mention of any forensic results— fingerprints or anything else that might have been found inside. Anybody have any thoughts on this aspect, or similar cases where vehicle evidence came into play?
