I've been reading about the Donald Grogan case from 1973, and I can't get over how terrifying it must have been for his daughter, Sue. Just imagine being a 14-year-old, tied up and overhearing such a violent encounter involving your own dad. It truly breaks my heart for her. The kind of trauma she must have experienced is unimaginable. I wonder if Sue has ever shared more about that day or if she was able to give a detailed description of the suspect. Sometimes, even small recollections can make a difference and spark new leads. Hoping for any update or a tip that could bring some peace to their family.
Does anyone else find it odd how the intruder seemed to know exactly what he was looking for? The fact that he kept asking about a "brown safe" makes me wonder if this was a targeted attack rather than a random burglary gone wrong. It seems as if someone might have tipped him off, knowing what Donald might have had, or maybe there’s more to the story that we just don’t know. It breaks my heart thinking about Sue and what she went through, being tied up and witnessing the whole thing. I really hope more information comes to light so that this family can finally have some peace. If anyone has any thoughts or theories, I'd love to hear them. What do you all think?
