Just recently stumbled upon the case of Edward Fonder, and something’s been bugging me about the timing of everything. Mary Jane was convicted of murdering someone from her church years after her dad disappeared, but I'm wondering, was there ever any indication of her having violent tendencies before that conviction? Could there be something in her past that might connect the two situations? I know we can't jump to conclusions, but considering she lived with Edward and then kept collecting his pension, the whole thing just seems suspicious. Also, the fact that investigators found his wallet miles away in Allentown but without prints is so strange. Could someone else have been involved, or was it all just a way to throw authorities off the trail? I'm searching through old newspaper archives to see if any neighbors or acquaintances ever mentioned anything odd about Mary Jane or their household dynamics. Anyone else come across additional details or similar cases where other family members were cleared only for it to surface years later? Would love to see if there are parallels.
