There are so many such communities in the U.S., but I've been trying to figure out which areas they might have connections to, considering her background in healthcare. Could it be that she sought out places with a substantial healthcare infrastructure where she could easily blend in and find work without standing out? This could be areas with large Haitian populations and several nursing facilities. I'm just speculating, but it seems like a logical place to look. I wonder if anyone has ever focused on specific communities during the investigation or reached out to local groups for assistance. This case is so puzzling, and after all these years, it’s frustrating to think there might be leads that got overlooked or lost in time.
