I've been digging into the case of Jose Francisco Fuentes Pereira, and one thing that caught my attention is how little he knew about his own identity. Imagine being so young and not even knowing your full name or birth date—it's heartbreaking to think about how vulnerable that made him. It seems like those details might have made it more difficult to track him down after he got separated. I'm wondering if anyone has looked into whether he might have ended up in some sort of system or agency where this lack of information could have prevented people from figuring out who he was. If records were as sparse back then as they sometimes are now, that could be a huge hurdle in finding him. It's just a chilling reminder of the human element in these cases—how easily details can be lost when the focus is just trying to survive. Anyone have thoughts on how this could have impacted the investigation?

Has anyone delved into the role the smugglers might have played in Jose's case? I can't help but wonder if more could have been done by them after Jose got separated. While I understand the chaos and danger at the border, I find it hard to believe that they couldn't retrace steps or try different strategies to reunite him with his family. Did the coyotes really put any significant effort into searching for him, or was it all just lip service to the family? It's frustrating to think that Paquito's inability to provide personal details about himself added another layer of difficulty in finding him. I hope one day there might be fresh insight that helps solve what happened to him. Thoughts?
