I’ve been looking into the details of Findley Wells’ murder and something that strikes me is the location where this tragedy happened—219 Peete Street. Has anyone else dug into the history of that area during the late 70s? Was it known for any particular activities or disturbances at the time? It might be a total shot in the dark, but understanding the neighborhood context might just give us some insights into potential motives or suspects. My heart goes out to Findley’s family and friends. This must be such a difficult chapter in their lives, and it just feels so unjust that they’ve had to wait so long for answers. If there’s anything we can collectively research or share, maybe it could help the efforts of law enforcement to finally bring some resolution to this case.
