Has anyone else been following the case of Alexandra Marie McIntire? I've been digging through some old articles and saw references to the female caregiver who took her to South Africa. It seems baffling to me that there are no charges against her despite her being the last person to be seen with Alexandra. Has anyone found more information about this caregiver's child care work in South Africa? It seems like there should be some kind of trail to follow given her profession. Also, curious if anyone has any insights into extradition laws between the U.S. and South Africa back in the '90s—could that have played a role in how this case was handled?
It's baffling to think about how Alexandra's case has remained unsolved for so long. Her needing daily medical treatments should have made it more complicated for anyone to keep her hidden, right? You'd think there would be a paper trail with all the medical attention she would have needed, especially considering her condition.
