Does anyone else find it odd how little attention this case got outside of Cincinnati? It seems like such a brutal crime would have drawn more media coverage, both locally and nationally. Monk's murder was so vicious, and it's frustrating to think that over 40 years have passed without answers. He deserves justice, and so do his loved ones who have been waiting all these years. I can't imagine the pain of not knowing who did this or why. Has anyone else come across more information about why this case might not have been more widely reported? Maybe there are details we're missing that could help us understand why it went under the radar for so long. Any insights?

Does anyone else find it odd that Monk's case hasn't got more attention over the years? I was just reading about him, and it's so frustrating that it's been over 40 years, and there still aren't any solid leads. The fact that he suffered both gunshot and stabbing wounds makes me think this was deeply personal. I wonder if investigators have ever explored any connections Monk might have had that could’ve escalated to this level of violence. It's also concerning that back then, communication between different police departments wasn't as streamlined as it is now. Could this have hindered sharing critical information that might've helped catch the perpetrator? On top of that, places like Glenwood Avenue could've been completely different scenes in the late 70s—busy or isolated? It feels especially important for the community to bolster any ongoing investigation efforts. Maybe revisiting old witnesses, re-evaluating evidence with new tech, or exploring cold case resources can finally lead to answers for his family. Sending love to all those who knew and loved Monk. You all deserve closure.
