Hey everyone, I wanted to bring up something that’s been bugging me about Phillip John Koss’s disappearance. Specifically, I’ve been thinking about the location where his car was found. It’s interesting that his red Geo Metro was discovered in the Meadows subdivision in Sarasota, which is close to his mother’s home. Is it possible he was trying to reach out to family or seeking some comfort when he was going through a tough time? That area might have held some significance for him. I'm curious if anyone local knew of any routes or places he could have frequently visited that might give us more insight? Thoughts?

I found it really interesting that Phillip was not only studying mechanical engineering but also played the violin in the Gainesville Chamber Orchestra. That kind of balance between the arts and sciences isn't common, and it seems like he was a very talented individual. It's so concerning how someone with so much potential could just vanish. I'm curious if there were any clues in the Meadows neighborhood where his car was discovered. Did the police talk to residents nearby, or maybe check any local businesses? It feels like there should have been some leads considering how close his car was to his mom's home. Anyone else have thoughts on why his car was left there or if the proximity to family might mean something?
