I can't stop thinking about how authorities pieced together the trail of Georg and his family through those visitor logs. Imagine them taking time to jot down their route, likely unaware of the danger they were heading into. It's almost like they left breadcrumb clues behind in hopes someone would come looking for them if things went wrong. I've been trying to visualize the last moment they might've felt hopeful, and the visitor log entry seems like one such moment. It makes you wonder about the stark contrast between that hopeful note and the heartbreaking discovery of their van months later. Does anyone have more info about any plans to search more thoroughly in and around Anvil Spring Canyon? I'm curious about what other clues might still be out there.

Does anyone else find it odd that the group's van had three flat tires when it was discovered in Anvil Spring Canyon? I mean, it's not uncommon to get a flat tire on those treacherous Death Valley roads, but three?! It almost feels like something was trying to stop them or they just hit a run of terrible luck. I keep wondering if they might have run into some kind of trouble with people or something caused them to hurry off the established path. I know it's a rough area to navigate, and conditions can change rapidly, so it could just be that they made a series of unfortunate decisions. But considering the odds, it makes you think about what else might have been going on out there in July 1996. What are everyone else's thoughts on this part of the case?

I came across this case recently, and it’s been haunting me, especially the part about the detour to the Panamint Mountains. Considering how rugged and unforgiving that area can be, I wonder if they underestimated the conditions or if they had some local advice that led them to think they could handle it. Has anyone looked into the other entries in the visitor log at Warm Springs Mine around the time they left their message? Did anyone else mention encountering the group or seeing anything unusual? It seems like such a critical lead that might offer more context about their intentions or state of mind before they went off the grid. Maybe they relied heavily on someone else’s experience or misjudged the terrain based on someone else's recommendations. And on another note, does anyone know why the minivan was found with not one, but three flat tires? That detail keeps nagging at me. Would love to hear others' thoughts on this!
