Hey everyone,
I came across Mary Carter's case, and I’ve been trying to piece together more about the midnight blue Ford pickup truck she was seen getting into. It seems like such a crucial lead! Given that the truck had those distinctive 2 to 3-inch white stripes, I’m curious whether anyone might know more about trucks like this from the 1980s. They apparently checked over 100 similar trucks back then. Can anyone chime in on whether these were common in the area during that time? It feels like someone might recall seeing something.
It's really tough to think about Mary’s kids being the ones to unknowingly lead to such a harsh discovery. My heart goes out to her family—can’t imagine the decades of not knowing. I've been following Mary Carter's case for a while and couldn't shake off the thought of those two young children who found their mom that day. It’s haunting to think about how their lives were forever changed in such a devastating way. The fact that they described her as just having "fallen asleep" speaks volumes about how innocent they were at that time. It’s disturbing to consider the trauma they must have endured and continue to deal with even now.
I always wonder if anyone in that area remembered seeing the midnight blue truck around before or after August 16, 1980. Even the smallest detail, something that maybe seemed insignificant back then, could potentially provide a lead. With so many years gone, you’d hope that someone with any information would feel safe to come forward now. My thoughts go out to Mary’s family and especially her children; I can’t imagine the pain of growing up without answers.
