On March 8, 2014, 32-year-old Jose Rivera-Vidal was shot and killed in Charlotte, North Carolina. Rivera-Vidal was found in a vehicle near the 3400 block of Weststone Drive. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and the case has not yet been solved. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have continued to investigate the case, seeking leads that could help identify the person or persons responsible for Rivera-Vidal's death.
