Has anyone looked into the possibility that Timothy might've crossed paths with the wrong people while planning his trip to Mexico? Considering he wanted one last adventure before joining the Navy, it seems plausible he might have been more open to risky situations. It's concerning that the Mexican authorities didn’t find any evidence of him being detained, but I wonder if there’s a chance he got involved in something he didn't plan for. I've heard of cases where people get mixed up with the wrong crowd when traveling abroad, and it makes me think there could be more to the story than we know. If anyone has more details on where exactly he intended to enter or stay in Mexico, that might offer some clues we’re missing.
