Timothy Criss, a 19-year-old from Santa Rosa, California, was last seen on October 15, 1996. At the time of his disappearance, Timothy had traveled to help his brother move to Las Cruces, New Mexico. On the day he vanished, he left a note for his brother stating that he was returning to California. The next day, October 16, he called his mother, who wired him money. During this call, Timothy mentioned that he was planning to visit Mexico for one last adventure before joining the Navy.
