I’ve been thinking about that Pine Tree Lodge check-in ever since I heard about Malinowski’s disappearance. It’s such a small detail, but I keep wondering if anyone saw him there or talked to him. Gaines is a tiny place, and I imagine any new face would be noticeable. Did anyone spot someone acting strangely or hear anything unusual that day? It seems like the kind of place where locals might remember something if asked. Maybe there’s a clue waiting to be uncovered by talking to the people who lived there back in ‘96. Thoughts?
