Just wanted to bring up something I've been thinking about regarding Donna L. Edgar's case. It’s so unnerving to think that even after all these years, we still don’t have answers. One thing that really gets to me is the location where they found her. I used to live not too far from Juneau Avenue and Storer Avenue in Akron, and I remember the area being pretty isolated back then—definitely not somewhere someone just stumbles upon by accident. I wonder if this suggests her killer was someone familiar with the surroundings.
It’s deeply unsettling, imagining what her family has gone through, with no closure and always wondering who could have done this to her. I can’t help but feel there's someone out there who knows more than they’re letting on. Cases like Donna’s highlight why it’s crucial for communities to keep talking about these unsolved crimes. Maybe the right person will see these discussions and come forward. Crossing my fingers we see some movement on this case soon. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
I recently came across Donna L. Edgar's case while diving into unsolved mysteries, and it really got me thinking about the complex process of investigating such tragic events. Something that's been on my mind is the challenge of gathering reliable eyewitness accounts after so much time has passed. It seems like it would make the task of investigators even more daunting.
Imagine trying to piece together what happened that night. The area where her body was found might have been more isolated back in 1981, and who knows how much it's changed since. Did anyone see or hear something unusual during that time, but dismissed it because they didn't realize its significance? Or, are there people out there who might’ve been too afraid to come forward back then?
The fact that her case remains unsolved after all these years must be incredibly difficult for her loved ones, who probably still hold onto hope for answers. I can't imagine what they're going through, and I truly hope that as more people learn about her case, someone will come forward with even the smallest piece of information that could break things open.
Sending support to Donna’s friends and family. Let’s keep her story alive and help in whatever way we can.
Hello everyone,
I recently came across the case of Donna L. Edgar, and something that really caught my attention was the location where her body was found. The wooded field near Juneau Avenue and Storer Avenue seems to be quite a concealed area. I wonder if the person responsible was familiar with the neighborhood or had some connection to it? It’s chilling to think about how someone could have done this and then disappeared without a trace. I feel so much for Donna's family, who must have desperately hoped she would be found safe, only to receive such devastating news. Does anyone from Akron or familiar with the area have any insights into what it was like back then or if there were other crimes in the vicinity? Could it have been a hangout spot that someone knew was secluded? Every little bit helps as we all hope for justice and answers for Donna and her loved ones. Take care, everyone.
