On February 16, 1981, 22-year-old Donna L. Edgar was reported missing by her family in Akron, Ohio. After more than a month of searching, her body was found in a wooded field near the area of Juneau Avenue and Storer Avenue in Akron, Summit County. Donna had been shot, and her death was ruled a homicide. The specific timeline of her death remains unclear, as her remains were not discovered until several weeks later, on March 27, 1981.
