Hey everyone, I've been following Aaron Stepp's case for a while now and noticed something intriguing related to the initial investigation efforts. Does anyone else find it odd that despite the extensive ground and water searches, there wasn't much emphasis on checking any nearby abandoned buildings or structures? Especially considering how curious Aaron was described to be, wouldn't it make sense to thoroughly explore these areas? I remember reading somewhere that kids often end up in the least expected places, and sometimes these buildings can be like magnets for young ones. Was it ever mentioned if these places were checked thoroughly back in the day, or have new developments been made on this front over the years? Just wondering if this angle was ever fully pursued. Thoughts?
