I've been following the Woodsedge Court case for years and what sticks with me is the apparent lack of forced entry. It's just mind-boggling to me. I feel for Deanne and Richard's families, who must be tormented by the thought that someone they knew could've done this. The fact that there wasn't any sign of burglary makes me wonder if the killer was familiar with them or if they just felt comfortable enough to let the person in. The connection to Roy Howard Sage is so puzzling—especially considering what happened after the murders. I can't imagine what Deanne's parents must have gone through, fighting for answers all these years. It's such a stark reminder of how a community's silence or missing pieces in an investigation can leave loved ones in a state of perpetual uncertainty.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been reading through the posts about Deanne Campbell and Richard Boyd's case, and I wanted to discuss something that's been on my mind. I was looking into the background of the area where the murders happened. Woodsedge Court was a pretty quiet neighborhood back in 1982, right? It's strange there weren't any reports of disturbances or unusual activity around the time Deanne and Richard were killed. It makes me wonder if the killer was someone who felt comfortable or familiar in that environment.
The fact that there was no forced entry suggests to me that whoever committed this act was likely allowed in, meaning the victims might have known them. Given that Deanne's car was damaged, perhaps there was an altercation or a chase leading up to the confrontation inside the house.
It breaks my heart thinking about Deanne’s parents, who spent years looking for answers. Losing a child to such violence must be the most painful thing imaginable. I truly hope someone comes forward with information that could finally give our community the closure it needs.
If anyone has thoughts on the significance of that car damage or the location, I’d love to hear your take on it.
Stay safe out there,
