Does anyone else find it odd that Michelle's cat was missing too? I mean, taking a quilt and a sleeping bag could make sense if someone was planning to camp out or go on a spontaneous trip, but a pet? That seems like a pretty deliberate choice to me, not something a 12-year-old would do if she was just running off impulsively.
I wonder if she felt like her cat was a source of comfort, especially given her tough family situation. The timing around Marc Seguin failing that polygraph after her disappearance is just too coincidental for me. Could he have been grooming her in some way, and she felt the need to escape with her cat for safety? Just throwing out some thoughts here, but I can't help but feel like the cat being gone is significant somehow. Anyone else have similar thoughts or info on that detail?
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Michelle Lois Prasek’s case for a while now, and something's been bugging me about the items that went missing with her. Does anyone else find it unusual how she took her sleeping bag and quilt? I mean, those are some pretty specific things for a 12-year-old to pack unless she had a more detailed plan in mind or maybe even guidance from someone older.
I read somewhere that children sometimes carry these comfort items when they’re scared or anxious. But could it also hint that she trusted whoever she left with, thinking she'd need them for a longer trip? Her cat being gone too—it feels like a very personal choice, not something you'd usually consider if you’re just staying with a friend overnight.
I just keep thinking about the role of that family acquaintance, Marc Seguin. Even though he was involved in unrelated charges later, his connection keeps bothering me. How thoroughly do you think that angle was investigated, especially considering he failed a polygraph? Thoughts?
