I was reading through the details of T.J. Miller's case, and something that struck me was the timeline from when he left the Union Station bar to when he was found. It's such a tight window, just an hour or so. I can't help but wonder if someone from the party or bar saw or heard something that night but didn't realize it was important. Lots of folks might have been leaving around the same time. Maybe they assumed he was just waiting for a ride or walking home. I hope anyone who was around North Limestone Street that early morning takes a moment to think back and consider reaching out to the Springfield Police. T.J.'s family has been waiting far too long for answers, and they deserve to know what happened to their son. If you're a local, maybe ask around? Sometimes people remember little details when they start talking to each other. It's worth a shot.
It's really disturbing that the hit-and-run case of young T.J. Miller still hasn't been solved after all these years. I keep thinking about how he was last seen downtown around 3:00 a.m. and just an hour later, he was found in such a tragic state. I can't help but wonder what might have happened during that timeframe. It's so painful that his family has been in limbo for decades now. The Union Station bar and its vicinity must hold some answers—did anyone else who was out that night notice anything unusual? Maybe someone saw a car driving erratically or overheard something important at the party or bar. To think that the driver is still out there and could be living with this secret is such a heavy thought. If anyone remembers even the smallest detail from that Halloween night in 1982, please step forward. T.J.’s family deserves answers.
