I’ve been thinking about the location—112 Illinois Avenue. Was it known for anything back then? Any neighbors or businesses around who might still remember what happened or have seen something unusual? Mark's family has carried this loss for so many years. Sometimes these cases get new leads from the most unexpected sources. If anyone here grew up around that area or has old ties there, even passing comments might help jog a memory.
