Hey everyone,
I've been following Dennis Auman's case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the role of the community back in 1982. Akron was a close-knit place, and it's hard to believe that someone hasn't come forward with information, even after all these years. Could it be that people were afraid to talk at the time or just didn’t realize what they knew was important?
Also, does anyone know if there were any significant leads back then that just didn’t pan out? Nearly 41 years later, it seems crazy that nothing substantial has surfaced. My heart goes out to the Auman family and friends who have had to live with this uncertainty for so long. I'm hopeful that renewed attention might inspire someone to share what they know, no matter how small it may seem. Every bit could be vital in solving this case.
Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts or rememberings if they were around during that time in Akron. Let's keep Dennis in our thoughts and hope for justice.
Take care,

Has anyone else been following the Dennis Auman case from Akron? It's haunting to think that someone could be taken from us in such a brutal way, and we're still without answers after all these years. I can't even imagine what his family has had to endure, living with this unresolved pain.
What really got me reading more deeply into this was the sense of desperation in the community's search for justice. I feel like there could be someone out there who might have seen or heard something back then and didn't realize the importance of it. Even casual conversations overheard or unusual behavior noticed in the area at that time could piece together what happened.
With the case still open in the cold case database, I'm really hoping that renewed interest or advancements in technology might shed some light. If anyone here is from the Akron area or knows more about Dennis's life, please share anything you can. Sometimes even a small detail can make a big difference. Let's keep his memory alive and hope for the breakthrough that finally gives his family the peace they deserve.
Does anyone remember the details surrounding the neighborhood crime spikes around the time Dennis Auman was murdered? I've been reading about his tragic death, and it seems like there might have been other incidents that could be connected or might offer some context. I feel deeply for his family; not knowing for so long must be an unimaginable weight. If anyone lived in the area back in '82 or has family stories about the neighborhood during that time, it would be interesting to hear. Sometimes these little pieces of history can help in piecing together a bigger picture. Hoping his family finds the answers they deserve.
