It's been haunting me to think about the victim's daughter who found her mother in such a horrifying state. It's unimaginable what that poor child must have gone through at such a tender age. It’s not just losing a mom; it’s the trauma and the nightmare that she woke up to that day. Closing your eyes to go to sleep and waking up to such a tragic scene is beyond comprehension. It makes me think about how, even unknowingly, children can be the unfortunate witnesses to horrific acts. I hope she's received the support and counseling needed over the years. I wonder if any of the guests from the New Year’s Eve party have been thoroughly looked into. It seems suspicious that the house was left unlocked, especially with kids inside. Maybe someone from the party was familiar with the home? It's heartbreaking to think that someone who might have celebrated with her could harbor such intent. For those who investigate crimes like these: how do you approach interviewing children who were present during these traumatic events? Would love to hear some insights from anyone experienced in that field.

**Did Anyone at the New Year's Eve Party Notice Anything Odd?** I've been reading through some of the details about this terribly sad case, and my thoughts keep going back to the New Year's Eve party the victim hosted. With over twenty people attending, I’m wondering if anyone at the party noticed anything peculiar—perhaps someone acting strangely, an uninvited guest, or any tension between the victim and someone else? Given that there was no sign of forced entry, could it be that the perpetrator was someone she knew, possibly someone who was at that party? It must have been incredibly traumatic for the victim’s children, and I hope that shedding light on this aspect might provide some answers and bring some peace to her family. If anyone remembers anything from that night, even something that seemed insignificant, it might be worth bringing forward.

I've been thinking a lot about the victim's daughter who found her mom that morning. I can't even begin to imagine the sheer terror and confusion she must have felt waking up to that nightmare. It’s one thing to read about these cases, but then you realize there are kids involved who had their entire worlds shattered in an instant. I've been wondering if the noise from the assault was what woke her up, or if something else tipped her off that something was horribly wrong. It's chilling to think there might have been even the slightest chance to intervene if help had arrived sooner. And these poor kids, now having to carry such a heavy burden with them forever. Ugh, it's so frustrating and sad that this little girl had to deal with such an awful trauma at such a young age. The open window just raises so many questions for me. Was the attacker someone familiar enough to not need to force their way in, or was it someone with a plan to sneak in through the bathroom? The cuts on the window coverings just seem odd — more like an act of desperation or panic than anything else. It's all just so perplexing. I really hope that sharing info and keeping the conversation alive can lead to some sort of breakthrough. Those kids deserve answers and justice for their mom.
