I was just reading through some old newspaper articles and stumbled upon a detail regarding Starlette Vining that I hadn't noticed before. Did anyone else catch that she left her last paycheck behind at Smythe's IGA? To me, that's super odd. I mean, who just leaves their paycheck? It seems like she had every intention of coming back or like something unexpected happened. Makes me wonder if she had plans the day she disappeared or was expecting to run a quick errand or catch up with someone. Maybe it's just me, but abandoning a paycheck feels like a clue that something went really wrong unexpectedly. Would love to hear what others think about this detail!
