It's baffling how long Aretha's case has remained cold. I was looking into the timeframe and can't help but wonder why there’s been such little movement on this. Does anyone know if there were any significant searches or efforts to locate her back in 1999? Given that she was thought to be homeless, it's possible she didn't have a set routine, which complicates things. It's just so frustrating because every missing person's case deserves the spotlight, especially when someone could have vital info that might not even realize it yet. Also, I've seen her case in the NamUs database—does anyone know if there have been any updates on the DNA side of things? The technology has advanced so much since then, you’d think something might turn up. Just wishing for any piece of news or progress after all these years.
