Hi everyone, I’ve been going down the rabbit hole on the Douglas Ferguson III case and something that's been bugging me is the weather conditions on May 4, 1999, the day of his disappearance. I did some digging, and according to the National Weather Service archives, that day had some unusual weather patterns, including unexpectedly rough waters in certain parts of Washington State. Could these conditions have played a more significant role in the reported boating accident? It makes me wonder if the weather might have caused some sort of equipment failure or other unexpected issues during the trip. If anyone has more info about the weather conditions or how they might have affected Douglas's boat, it might shed some light on this piece of the puzzle that’s been on my mind.
