Yusuf Abdul Wilson was 17 when he vanished from Eastpointe, Michigan, after being dropped off at a friend’s house on October 1, 1999. He was last seen leaving that residence and was never heard from again. At the time he was about five feet eleven inches to six feet tall, 150–160 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, pierced ears and nose, eyeglasses, a dog-bite scar on a leg, and a tattoo reading YB on his left arm or forearm. He was reportedly wearing a jacket and blue jeans.

Records say authorities initially treated him as an endangered runaway and considered it possible he stayed in the local area, but there is no publicly disclosed later sighting, vehicle, recovered property, crime scene, person of interest, or arrest. An age-progressed image was later released to help generate leads.
