Has anyone else noticed the significance of the cake April left behind? It seems so personal and deliberate. If she planned on running away, why would she leave something so freshly made that indicates she was coming back soon? Even though it initially might not seem like a huge clue, sometimes it's these small details that get overlooked but can say so much. Did she bake it for someone she trusted or as part of a plan she had for that night but never got to realize? I can't help but think it's worth considering what the cake meant to her and whether it could provide any insight into what might have happened that night. Has anyone else seen cases where something like this ended up being a big piece of the puzzle?

I've been thinking a lot about the part where April left that cake behind in the apartment. It's such a small detail, but it feels significant. Baking a cake isn't something you do if you're planning to leave for a long time, right? It seems more like something you’d do if you were planning to come back home soon, maybe to celebrate or just enjoy later on. The fact that she had $150 in cash lying around too makes me believe she had every intention of returning. It’s these little things that just tug at my mind. Does anyone else think the cake might mean something more, or am I reading too much into it? It just seems like a clue pointing to the idea that she thought she was leaving for just a short while.
