I was going through old reports on Rolando Hinojosa's disappearance and something about the vehicle stood out to me. Hinojosa was driving a white over brown Ford Excursion, which doesn't seem like the most common vehicle to go missing without a trace. I wonder if anyone's looked into auto salvage yards or chop shops extensively? Large vehicles like that can sometimes be more conspicuous due to their size and may be harder to hide, even if they were broken down for parts. Or maybe someone in the racing community might remember seeing it that day? It feels odd that neither the car nor Rolando turned up anywhere. Thoughts?
Hey everyone,
I was just reading about Rolando Hinojosa's disappearance again—the DJ from Laredo known as "Hot Sauce." One thing that really stands out to me is the vehicle he was driving: a white over brown Ford Excursion. It's such a large and distinct vehicle that you'd think it would be easier to spot or trace, even after all these years. I can't help but wonder if there are any chop shops or illegal salvage yards around that area—they may have disassembled it without anyone knowing. I read somewhere that this happens more often than you'd expect with missing person cases involving missing vehicles. Does anyone else think this could be a possibility, or maybe I'm just overthinking it?
Would love to hear your thoughts on the vehicle or any other theories you guys might have.
Stay safe,
