Does anyone else find it incredibly sad how long Patrice Corley was known only as "Jane Doe"? It's unimaginable to think that her family spent so many years without knowing what happened to her. What breaks my heart the most is thinking about her young son growing up without answers. Identifying her years later must have been a bittersweet moment for her loved ones—a sense of closure but also the reopening of wounds. While the DNA identification is a significant breakthrough, it feels like just another beginning in a long fight for justice. Kudos to the investigators and everyone who worked tirelessly to give Patrice her name back and refuse to let the case be forgotten. I'm hoping they find the information they need to uncover the truth behind her tragic death.
